Memorial Day

Happy Memorial Day everyone! We have had a great Memorial Day weekend. Jason has been off work since friday. Landon and I have LOVED him home with us, but he is back to work tomorrow.
In honor of Memorial Day and all of our past and present soldier's we visited Healing Field. This is a field a veteran's group put together where families who have lost a loved on or is currently in our military can place a flag in their honor. I was told today that there were over 1500 flags placed by family and friends. It was an amazing site and to be able to walk through all of those flags I have never been more proud to be an American.

Thank you to all of our past, present and future men and women who serve our country that help keep us safe and free.

Happy Birthday 29th Birthday Jason

Just wanted to say Happy Birthday to my handsome husband, Jason. He turns 29 today. I hope you enjoy your last year in your twenties. Landon and I love you very much.

We did a few things around the house this morning and then headed over to Jason's parents house. His mom cooked us a wonderful dinner and his two sister's came over to celebrate with us.

Water table

I just ordered this arctic water activity table for Landon

Since he loves to play in water I thought this would be great for our front or back porches and yard. I am hoping it keeps him out of the toilet water as well. haha ;o)
The table should be here within a week. I cant wait for him to start playing with it and help keep him entertained during our summer break.

I will let you know how he likes it when it arrives and I have it set up

Jason and I are looking at wooden swing sets to place in our backyard for a birthday present. I will let you know how it goes ;o)

Have a great week!

I know some of the picture's are hard to see. They are picture's of picture's, but you get the idea

Here is all the great things I received from my little one's

Jason has been feeling really bad for the last few days and I have had a sore throat for more than a week, but still able to function. Jason woke up this morning and was so sick he headed to the minute clinic at Walgreen's since our doctor is not open on Saturday morning's. He was diagnosed with a sinus infection and strep throat. I was like strep throat, so since I have had a sore throat for a while I went in to get tested just in case. I tested negative, but did have a sinus infection, so $100 later with two co-pays and six prescription's we hope to all be healthy by Monday. Landon was sick the 1st of this week so we just keep passing sickness around to each other. We cant drink or eat after each other, no kissing and LOTS of hand washing.

Have a great rest of the weekend! ;o)

A walk in my shoes

Landon LOVES to wear either my shoes or Jason's shoes. On this particular day Landon climbed the stairs, opened Jason's closet, pulled out his shoes and brought them downstairs to play with. He has 100's of toys, but he wants to play with shoes.

Not sure why he wanted 1 tennis shoe and 1 dress shoe

Landon turned 22 months old 3 days ago on May 14th. WOW! 22 months, really? Here are a few things he is up to these days.

Landon you:
-wear a size 4 diaper
-size 6 or 7 shoe
-24 month or 2T clothes
-you wave and say bye bye to everyone or anything. Even the toilet water ;o)
-you love to sit on the toilet and wipe. We will start potty training this summer
-you are able to open our car door's and put the key in the ignition
-you have discovered our backyard fish pond and love to help daddy clean it
-we rarely go out to eat because you will NOT sit still for no more than 3 minutes. This also goes for shopping as well
-you eat everything and anything
-you still take your binky during the day and not just at nap and bedtime. We think you will go to kindergarten with it ;o)
-love to color or draw
-we love your wild and crazy curly red hair
-you know where your head, hair, ears, nose, eyes, mouth, fingers, belly, pee pee, feet and toes are when we ask you to point to them
-you like to bark like a dog all the time

We love you more and more everyday

A day in Chattanooga

Today I visited my home town Chattanooga, TN. I really miss Chattanooga and it has changed so much since I moved away in August 2004. I just made a day trip since Smyrna is only 1hr 45mins away from Chattanooga.

My sorority sister Amanda is having a little boy in July and she was having a baby shower.

The jungle theme and decorations were super cute!

After the shower I drove over to my grandmother's house to visit before I headed home. When I arrived home Jason had dinner waiting, the house was cleaned and him nor Landon were in the hospital. I saw overall it was a great day!

1 week of school till summer break!
