Last night Jason and I had the opportunity to attend the Vanderbilt vs. Vols game. It was a good game and we had a great time on our date night. There was A LOT of orange!! We were routing for Vandy since we do live in Nashville.
Before going to the game
I have not been feeling well the last few weeks and have had some left pelvic pain. After church my mom and I went to Vandy so she could do an ultrasound. She found 3 small cyst on my left ovary which seem to be shrinking, but still hurts no less. Everything else down there looked nice and healthy just those small cyst. I am going to call my OB/GYN tomorrow to see what is the next step. I was told they should go away on their own, but I have never had cyst before so I'm still going to check. After my scan I came home and took a 2 hour nap. WOW did that feel great!! By then it was 4:30 and time to think about dinner and getting ready for work tomorrow. The plan was to get Christmas decorations out today, but it just didn't happen.
Landon and I have a 2 day week this week. Then we are off for 5 days. Yay for county school schedules
We had a great LAZY weekend. This was the first weekend where we didn't have a wedding, baby shower, birthday party or any other activity planned. This will probably we our last weekend like this till the new year.
The only home project I did this weekend was paint an old light fixture and buy a new glass globe for it. I wish I took a before picture, but this fixture was brass and I painted it chrome with metal spray paint that my mom had. So this whole makeover cost me $3.00 for the glass globe.
Saturday night Jason's parents watched Landon for us while Jason and I went to eat at P.F. Changs. YUM YUM!!
After dinner we took advantage of our babysitters (haha) and went shopping. We bought this leather ottoman for our living room. We needed a table and a little more storage
This morning after church we came home and have been lazy ever since. I did go to the grocery store, but that doesn't count
Well its 4:30pm and turning dark. So I guess were staying in for the night ;o)
I am so glad to be back this week for Show Us Your Life. I really enjoy looking into every ones homes and getting great decorating ideas.
We have 3 bathrooms, 2 full baths and 1 half bath.
This is our downstairs half bath. I just painted the walls, changed the faucet and light fixture this year
Back and white family photos from last year
I used green, black and silver for this bathroom
Our upstairs guest bathroom. I just painted this bathroom about 2 months ago and changed the faucet. Still looking for a new light fixture
Our master bath is the next makeover. I would like to paint it again, change all the faucets and sinks as well as light fixtures. And a new floor would be nice
I really like our garden tub, but we never use it.
Notice the 2 white circles on the wall on the right under the light switch? That is where Landon pulled out the toilet paper holder from the wall and Jason had to patch up the holes. HAHA ;o)
Going out of the bathroom. My walk in closet is on the left. We do not share a closet as of right now. Jason's closet is in our guest room, but when baby #2 comes he will have to move into my closet ;o(. One reason we are waiting on more babies. HAHA ;o)
Check out all the other great bathrooms on Kellys Korner
Jason and I met while attending the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. We were married in April 2005 and had our first child, Landon, in July 2008. We live in Smyrna, TN and enjoy our lives with a energitic toddler.
