Schools out for summer

Today was Landon's and my last day of school and I am SO ready for summer to begin. I am going to enjoy the next 9 weeks at home with my boys. I always take a first day of school picture and a last day of school picture and this year was no different.

First day of school; August 2011
I thought he looked like a big boy in these pictures
till I saw these today.
Last day of school; May 2012

He was in a Spider man theme today. We were also taking pictures for his upcoming birthday party in July.
In August I will have both boys for 1st day of school pictures.
I have Pre-K graduation tonight, cleaning up my room tomorrow and after that I'm done for 9 glorious weeks.
Happy Tuesday!

Houston's baby dedication

Last weekend we celebrated Mother's Day as well as Houston's baby dedication. On Saturday our church had a child dedication celebration. They set up tables for the family, had a slide show of all the children being dedication, a few speakers and a fabulous dessert table.

The invitation to the Saturday event
Our table
Houston received his first toddler Bible and a letter from our Senior Pastor for Houston to open when he accepts Christ in his heart and gets baptised.

The grandmothers
The grandparents are our biggest supporters. They did so MUCH for us when Houston was in the hospital and I will always be grateful for them.
The grandmothers LOVE Houston
Sunday morning, Mother's Day Houston was dedicated to our church in front of all the congregation.

One of my great friends, Krissy from work was baptised on Sunday as well. It was a special day for these two people that I care very much for. I'm so proud of them both.
Krissy about to be baptised
So proud of her and her journey with Christ
Houston was excited as well. Someone has to wear a bib all the time due to extreme drool and his 1st tooth coming in.
Proverbs 22:6 Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it.

Happy Mother's Day

Happy Mother's Day!

The boys gave me Houston's birthstone ring to match Landon's that I received for my first Mother's Day three years ago.
I love that all 3 of my boys are represented on my wedding finger
The loves of my life that made me a mother
Houston and I celebrating our first mothers day together

Houston was dedicated to our church yesterday and this morning. Houston's baby dedication post coming soon.

Happy Mothers Day!

Mothers Day gifts from school

This week our preschool celebrated Mothers Day with "Muffins for Mom". The classes set up muffins and juice in the kids classroom along with some type of homemade gift. Landon and I were able to spend a few moments this morning eating the muffins and drinking our juice, but he was more excited about showing me his Mothers Day gift's he made just for me.

A candle and home made card
A poem inside the card and Landon wrote his own name
Hand print flower pot with finger print flowers
This one is my favorite.
Landon was asked a few questions about me and his teachers wrote them down
I love that he thinks I am 5lbs and 8ft tall.
My sweet little man's face on a magnet
I just LOVE home made gifts from Landon. These are gifts I will cherish forever and will store in a safe place.
