Biltmore Mansion

In 2 weeks Jason and I will celebrate our 5 year wedding anniversary. We are so excited because we are going to Asheville, NC to visit:

Biltmore Mansion

I can hardly contain myself. I have been wanting to visit Biltmore for years and I am finally going to be able to go. We are going with another couple from our small group who's 5 year anniversary is 7 days after ours. Landon will be staying with Jason's parents for 3 days. We were married on April 9, 2005. I cant believe we have been married for 5 years already.

Our 1st wedding anniversary we went to Gatlinburg, TN for the weekend.

Our 2nd we flew to Vegas for a few days. April 2007

Our 3rd anniversary I was 5 months pregnant with Landon and Jason took me to an overnight stay at a Bed and Breakfast in Franklin, TN. April 2008

Last year we had a 9 month old at home so we just went to dinner.

I am super excited to celebrate our 5 year and going to Biltmore.

Have a good weekend.

Tiffany's Daycare

Landon and I have been on spring break all week and it's been wonderful. We have been playing at the park, going to the YMCA, taking wagon rides and hanging out with friends. The only thing we have not been doing is sleeping in. I guess I forgot to mention to Landon that we sleep in on spring break. I have been taking naps while he is napping so that has been nice this week. Our sweet friend Brady came over to play yesterday while his mom went to work for a few hours. They had the best time in the "princesses" (aka Zoey) crate.

Happy Spring!!

Only 3 more weeks till our Biltmore estate trip.
More to come on that...

Sunny Saturday

The weather was gorgeous in Nashville today. I had my morning workout at the YMCA today while the boys slept in. After my workout I as able to go to Target all by myself with NO toddler and NO husband (both are difficult to shop with). I drove home and then off to a 1st birthday party. It was the perfect day for a cookout in the park. Here are a few pictures from our day.

Earlier this week I posted about Landon's new Easter basket from Pottery Barn Kids. I ordered the basket on Tuesday and it was delivered on Thursday. Isn't it the cutest? I am SO happy with it and the quality is wonderful. Don't you just LOVE PBK?

New Easter Basket

I saw this at Pottery Barn Kids and HAD to order it for Landon's Easter basket this year.

Isn't it the cutest? Of course I ordered the blue with his name monogrammed in light green. The reviews were great and it was priced well. Last year I really didn't have him a "basket", but this year since he is walking and able to participate in Easter egg hunts I thought he needed a good quality basket.

A man after my own heart

I was cleaning yesterday afternoon and Landon decided to help

He found the bowl brush, lifted the seat and began to clean the toilet. I guess he sees me doing this (what seems like ALL the time) so he knew exactly what to do. I was a proud mama. He also likes to take my dust rags and "dust" the furniture, floor and our dog. ha!!

After cleaning he decided to make this mess

This boy LOVES his books

Two weeks ago we were invited to a birthday party at our local pottery place. Landon painted a crown. This is the final results. My son the artist

For the first time in a while we had no plans for the weekend. Tomorrow we have church and grocery store and that is the plan's for the day.

I have 1 more week till spring break!! YEAH!!

Consignment Shopping

Twice a year our community has several consignment shops that open for mom's to shop second hand clothes, toys, shoes, books, movies etc.. There are several in the spring and fall. For the last two weeks I have been consignment shopping and found some great items for Landon.

Clothes!! I cant believe I was shopping in the 24 months and 2T racks.

Books (everything Car's)

I bought this basketball bath toy brand new still in the box for $3.00

Landon will have to sleep on a nap mat next year at mother's day out. I found this mat for $1.00. We will have to practice sleeping on it this summer

$10.00 Diego Car. He LOVES it!! Best $10.00 I have ever spent

And the ultimate find, $6.00 Disney Car chair

Landon's new pet's

This morning Landon and I were watching the Disney channel and we looked out our window and saw our new pets

We had 3 deer in our front yard this morning. We have lived here for 3 years and have never seen deer

This is our neighbors house. There is a deer in this picture somewhere

Our backyard is a common area. Our street is shaped liked a horse shoe and in between the house's is a wooded area. All I have ever seen in our yard are the usual animals, squirrels, rabbits, birds, etc..

They hung out in the yard for an hour or so and went on their way. It must be close to spring!!

The move is complete

So we finally got our new TV mounted on the wall, moved our furniture into the living room, moved all of Landon's toy's into his new play room and assembled our media tower. Here are the results:

This is what our DVR box and DVD player stood on for a couple of weeks. Sad I know.
All Landon wanted to do was to touch EVERY button.

Landon's new toy room

This use to be our den/TV area. It is SO NICE to have all of Landon's toy's in one room.

So I need some decorating help. What can I do to decorate underneath the TV? What do people put on the mantle? I left some space between the mantle and the TV so I can put out my Christmas garland in December, but what could I put up for the rest of the year? Any suggestions?
