Houston is 8 months old

Houston turned 8 months old on May 3, 2012. Yet again I cant believe my baby is already 8 months old and another month has flown by. Here is what baby Houston, as Landon calls him, is up to these days.

• Weight: 20lbs
• Size 3 diaper
• 9 to 12 month clothes

• Rolls from front to back and back to front
• Has discovered his feet
• LOVES to chew on his fingers, but still no teeth
• Drools all the time
• Smiles all the time

• Such a great baby and very relaxed. He just goes with the flow and goes along for the ride
• So close to sitting up by himself
• LOVES his Johnny Jumper

• Still bald ;o)
• LOVES to watch big brother play outside and watch him ride his Gator
• Had his first massage therapy class with TEIS. He loved his feet massage, but not so much with the belly and back
• Takes 5 bottles a day at 6oz each. Eats fruits and vegetables with rice cereal 3 times a day

• Gripping toys for a longer period of time and taking them to his mouth
• Taking a toy from one hand to the other

• He is right on track to where he needs to be and we could not be happier with his progress

Big brother was NOT in the mood to participate in pictures

Houston you are a pure blessing to our family and we love you so much. Your continued progress each and every day is an inspiration to all children born so premature. I cant believe I am already thinking about your 1st birthday in just 4 short months.
