Christmas 2012

We had a wonderful Christmas Day. The boys woke up about 7:30 am and were ready to see what Santa brought. Landon raced to the tree so fast I could not get to my camera in time to take pictures. So here are just a few snap shots from our Christmas morning at home.

The thing they played with the most was not even a toy. It was Houston portable high chair that was sitting out for us to take to the grandparents house

Houston was upset that big brother was in his chair and kept trying to push him out

After Christmas breakfast we headed over to Jason's grandmothers house for lunch. I was too busy chasing two kids and making sure they didn't break anything to take pictures. After visiting with that side of the family we drove to Jason's parents house where we ate dinner and spent the night. Jason's two sister's and their families come over to eat and exchange presents for all the kids. 

My favorite present the boys received were these 2 Pottery Barn Kids chairs. I have been wanting my boys to have one of these for years and finally we were able to give them this year.

We had a fantastic Christmas and we are extremely blessed. As much as I love Christmas I am so ready to get my house back to normal and organized again.

Reindeer Fun

Thursday my good friend Sarah and her son Brady went with Landon and I too see two of Santa's reindeer at our local shopping area.

After we saw the reindeer we ate a cookie at the Cookie Store and headed home in time to look at a live nativity scene at a local church and a few Christmas lights.

Santa Visit #2

Today my friend Sarah and I took our boys to visit the Santa at Bass Pro Shop and then let the boys play in the store and enjoy all the activities they had for the kids.

Cutest little shepherd I have ever seen

Well I have been MIA for a week because we have had Internet problems, but I finally got around to fixing it today so I will be playing catch up for a few days. Thursday was our last day of school till January 7th. Yes can you believe we get 3 weeks off for Christmas and New Years? Well our school had a little Christmas program for the parents and Landon was picked by his teacher to be one of the shepherds in the program.

Houston was able to be in the Jingle Bell's parade with all the other babies and toddlers

We are on day two of our 3 week Christmas break and Houston has RSV and an ear infection. He's on breathing treatments till Thursday every 6 hours. Merry Christmas to us!!

Random Tuesday

I just have another random post today with a few happenings in the last few days. Most are iPhone pictures, so not the best quality.

Last weekend Suzanne, Sarah and I along with our husbands had a parents night out. We had 5 blissful kid free hours of eating dinner and shopping together

Since it's been getting dark at 5 pm here I had to invest in a head lamp for night running

A few of us girls got together for a nice 5 to 6 mile run Sunday afternoon. These are some great girls I run with. 

Sparky the elf is back and has been very busy trying to figure out where he's going to next

When we visited Santa at the Opryland Hotel we found Shrek's house by the river.

Saturday night was our running club's Christmas party. I wanted to get a picture of Suzanne and I before we got all sweaty from dancing

My handsome hubby. We had the best time and it really was one of the best Christmas parties I have ever attended

One night last week I was cooking dinner and found Landon asleep. Poor thing he doesn't really get a nap in pre-k so when he comes home and sit's he's usually out.

Houston found out how to take the Christmas ornaments off the tree tonight

Well that about sums up our random happenings. We have 2 days left of school till were out for 3 glorious weeks. We don't return till January 7th

Santa Visit

Today my mom and I took the boys to visit Santa. I knew Landon would love him since he did so well last year, but I was a little nervous about Houston and how he would react to the big red guy. How do you think he did?

Houston was more curious about Santa than anything.

Landon asked for another John Deere Tractor so his friends could ride that one. I'm pretty sure he asked for another one so he didn't have to share the one he got last year.
