It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas

We bought a new tree this year. This one is taller and skinner and fits better in our living area.





I have been seeing magazines and blog friends put Christmas picks in their trees. I thought to myself I could do that. So I bought some and stuck it at the top, but its not as pretty as the magazines. Is there a trick to putting pick in a tree?
