Pumpkin farm

Our family visited our local pumpkin farm today. It was so HOT like 85 degrees hot. I had to break out the shorts and t-shirts before we could go to the farm. Something about wearing shorts at a pumpkin farm in October does not seem right. Here are a few pictures from our day

Our saturday

Our saturday consist of painting our back deck, well Jason painted. Landon and I were busy with errands, house cleaning and napping.

Here is our deck before. The paint has been wearing off and it looked horrible. It needed a fresh coat.




We also removed the lattice from around the bottom of the deck. I did not like that stuff

Show Us Your Life- Kitchen

Today at Kelly's Korner its show us your life-kitchens. I know your kitchen is suppose to be your favorite room since many families spend the most time in the kitchen, but ours is my least favorite room in our home. I think because it just needs the most updates. Our home was built in 1996 and this kitchen has not changed since then as far as appliances, cabinets and counter tops. I would LOVE to do a remodel, but we just don't have the funds for that kind of remodel. We have been updating little things here and there, but for now everything works and is functional.

We did upgrade to a new sink and faucet. My favorite thing about our kitchen is my new faucet. HAHA

High school reunion and Chattanooga zoo

Landon and I are on fall break this week, so Jason took a few days off and we visited my hometown of Chattanooga, Tn for a few days.
I had my 10 year high school reunion on friday night

Since it's finally October and semi cold outside I put out my fall decorations today. I only decorate downstairs since no one but us really goes upstairs.

Today on Kelly's Korner its Show Us Your Life-Dining Rooms
Again this is another room in our house that I have not done much to since we moved into our home 4 years ago. We only use this room on holidays or special occasions. It's rather small, so we just eat at the bar area in our kitchen everyday.
