The BIG 40!!

It took me 12 months, but I did it. I lost 40 lbs and still going.

This is me in March 2009. I was 2 months into Weight Watchers

I use to have to lay on the bed to squeeze into these size 16 jeans.


My goal is to lose a total of 45 lbs. I have 3.2 lbs more to go till I can reach that goal and then 6 weeks of weight maintenance. After those 6 weeks I stay within my goal weight I can become a lifetime member of Weight Watchers. I have more self confidence and more energy without those 40 lbs. I never want to see them again!!

Did you notice my newly painted green wall and curtains? Jason and his dad painted our living room on Saturday. We are in the process of looking at LCD flat screen TVs to go over our mantle. Anyone have any suggestions?

Discovery Center

Jason and I had the day off today for MLK day, so we decided to have a family fun day. We went to our local children's museum, The Discovery Center. They had free admission today due to the holiday. Landon had a BLAST!! We just let him GO. He ran circles around us today. He has more energy than we do. Here are a few pictures from our day together.

18 months

Landon had his 18 month wellness exam this morning. Here are the stats and what he is up to these days.

33 1/2"- 55% percentile
27 lbs.- 70% percentile

You are in size 4 diapers
Wear size 18 month clothes
Size 6 1/2 to 7 shoe
You have 14 teeth. Two more are on their way
You are getting up at 7am-7:30am every morning
Down to 1 nap a day. Usually 1-2 hours at a time
Your new thing is to empty out cabinets and crawl into them
You LOVE to open and close doors
When you don't get your way you throw a little tantrum
You still love your binky. That is the only item you are attached to
When we say where is your head, feet, nose and belly you point to them. We are working on ears
When I ask you to get your socks, shoes or coat you bring them to mommy
You wave bye-bye to Zoey every time we leave the house
With all the toys in the house your true love in still the vacuum and broom (a man after my own heart) I just wish your daddy felt the same way ;o)

I cant believe my "baby" is 18 months old.

It has been so COLD here in Smyrna. We have had temps in the twenties and snow. Cold weather and snow equals a bowl of


Jason made us a pot of homemade chili. It was so good. I love cheese, sour cream and Frito scoops with my chili. What's your favorite cold weather food?

Landon's 18 month wellness exam is friday morning. I can't believe my baby is 18 months. That means in 6 months he will be 2 years old. You know how fast 6 months goes? Seems like he was just born yesterday.

Let it snow, Let snow, Let it snow

We finally got our snow day here in TN. Schools were closed on Thursday and Friday. The snow came in on Thursday afternoon and has been here since. Jason, Landon and I ventured outside this morning. It's suppose to stay below freezing through the weekend so maybe I will get another snow day on Monday. Here are a few pictures of the Warf's in the snow.

Ronald McDonald House

Jason and I are very lucky to be apart of an awesome small group from our church. Our small group consists of 4 couples and we meet every other week to discuss the series our Church is focusing on or just to get together. We also like to do a few service projects as well. Last week we cooked dinner for the Nashville Ronald McDonald House. We cooked 3 lasagnas, 2 bowls of salad, several packages of bread sticks and dessert. The parents were lined up at the door at 6pm sharp for dinner. We had fun with our small group as well a volunteering our time to a great cause.

I was in the kitchen and I knew Landon was playing with his new car around the house, but all the sudden the car stopped. I didn't think much about it, just that he got tired of riding it and moved on to something else. All the sudden I heard this screaming cry for help, I walked into the dining room and this is what I saw.


Yes I went to grab the camera and let him stand like that for a few seconds.HAHA ;o
He has also learned how to stand on the seat and hold down the go button. Our little dare devil.
