A year in review 2009

What a year 2009 was. It was the best year of our lives and watching Landon grow before our eyes. He hit so many milestones this year its amazing how much he as grown and learned. Here is our year in review

January 2009 we started the year off with our sweet 6 month old little boy





February 2009; I turned 27 and spent my first birthday as a mommy. We also celebrated Landon's 1st Valentines day




March 2009; Landon started sitting on his own better and spent hours in his Johnny Jumper




April 2009; Landon's 1st Easter and Jason and I celebrated our 4 year wedding anniversary




May 2009; Jason turned 28 and I celebrated my 1st mother's day.





June 2009; Jason celebrated his 1st Father's Day. We drove over 3,200 miles to Yellowstone National Park








July 2009; We celebrated Landon's 1st birthday





August 2009; Landon and I returned to mother's day out for a new school year




September 2009; We went to the yearly NICU reunion and enjoyed the last nights of summer




October 2009; We visited our local pumpkin farm and Landon was a dragon for his 2nd Halloween. Jason and I went to a Vandy football game and we partied like it was 1999 at Jason's 10 year high school reunion. Jason also got a promotion at work.






November 2009; Happy Thanksgiving




December 2009; We had a wonderful Christmas




Happy New Year from the Warf family. We are looking forward to 2010.

Home Improvements

Here are a few of our new home improvements.

We have two bathrooms that we replaced the same faucets in.

Next home improvement project is we are moving our den area into our front living room and making our den into Landon's playroom so we are able to keep all his toys in this room and give him more space to play in.

What do you think about the paint and the curtain? I bought a sample can of the paint and painted a few spaces on the walls so I can look at it for a few days to make sure I really like the color. Once all our Christmas decorations are put away we are going to paint the walls and the trim. Our trim color is going to be semi-gloss WHITE WHITE!!
What do you think? Any other ideas?

Post Christmas Day

We hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas. We had a great day spending time with our families. Christmas morning Landon woke up at 6:20am and would NOT go back to bed so we got out of bed and opened gifts from each other.

At 9am my parents came over and we opened gifts from them.

As a stocking stuffer Landon got puffs and he would not let them go while he was playing with his new toys

OK so my mom always gets us random food items for Christmas every year. This is us with our groceries. It's a tradition.

At 1pm we ate lunch with Jason's grandmother and aunts, uncles and cousins. And then at 6pm we ate dinner with Jason's parents and sister's.

We had a VERY BUSY Christmas. Landon had a great day opening up gifts and playing with his new toys. He was very fun this year and we look forward to many more Christmas's with him. Over all is was a great day spending time with our families and eating yummy food.

Santa Baby

Landon visited Santa on Saturday. Here is the results:



The picture actually turned out better than I thought. His eyes are open, no tears, just a get me out of this strange man's lap face. I guess he knew the stranger danger. We only waited for 15 minutes which was a shock since it was the Saturday before Christmas. After Santa's visit we did a little shopping, eating and napping for the rest of the day. Saturday night Jason and I attended our small groups Christmas party. Sunday we traveled to Chattanooga to celebrate Christmas with my mom's side of the family and came home the same day. Over all we had a great weekend spending time with each other and our families and friends.

I cant believe Christmas is this week. Merry Christmas
