New Christmas PJ's

Last year we started a tradition with Landon's 1st Christmas by buying a new pair of Christmas PJ's. Here is Landon in his new PJ's for this year.

Believe it or not he did eat a lot for dinner tonight.

I heart plastic baggies

Landon always finds new "toys" to play with around the house. I left Landon alone for a few minutes and when I returned to the living room I found this.





He opened the drawer, pulled out the box of baggies and carried them to the living room. He took every baggie out of the box. By the way it was a brand new box. Haha ;o)

O Christmas Tree O Christmas Tree

I am not one to put up 3-5 Christmas tree's around the house. I am doing good to get one down from the attic, put together and decorated. We just have 1 Christmas tree and that's enough for us. I didn't put a Christmas tree in Landon's room his year. I was planning on it, but I knew it would not last long in there as I have a 17 month old who would tear it apart in 5 minutes. Next year Landon will be 2 and I think he would appreciate it more then. So until next Christmas we have 1 tree.

My favorite ornaments

All of my ornaments have meaning behind them. Most are from places we have vacationed over the years, some are ones we received as wedding gifts, our 1st Christmas together ornaments, fraternity and sorority ornaments and a few from Landon's 1st Christmas last year.

Risky Business

I went grocery shopping this afternoon and when I returned home I felt like I went back to the 80's. Jason just changed Landon's diaper and didn't put his pants back on. He remind me of Tom Cruise in Risky Business with the collared shirt and socks. Could he be any cuter?

Thanksgiving recap

We had a very nice Thanksgiving. Wednesday night we ate with my parents and Thursday night we ate with Jason's family. Landon stayed at GG's (my mom) house Thanksgiving day so Jason and I could get the Christmas tree down and put together and all the other Christmas decorations. Besides a quick trip to Hobby Lobby and Old Time Pottery to pick up a few more decorations I am done with decorating our home. The Christmas shopping is a different story. I have two weeks off work for Christmas break next month so I get most of my shopping done during that time.
This has been a great year for my family and I. We are very blessed in so many ways. I am thankful that we have family, friends, our health, a nice home, jobs, cars, food, clothing, love and most importantly our church and Jesus Christ. He provides for us and without him we would have none of the above. So for that I am grateful.
I totally forgot my camera yesterday so no pictures on this post. Jason finished mulching up the leaves today so I will take pictures of our outside and inside decor this weekend. Until then have a fabulous weekend.
