15 months already

O my goodness Landon is 15 months old. Really where does the time go? Jason, Landon and I headed to the doctor this morning for Landon's 15 month wellness exam. He received 3 shots and had to get blood drawn. He did not cry the 1st time when they drew blood, but when they brought those shots out that was a different story. As a mom we NEVER want anything bad to happen to our babies so going to the doctor and seeing him cry because someone is hurting him breaks my heart. At least he will never remember them. We go back when he is 18 months and then again at 24 months. After that he only has to go once a year. YEAH!!
Here are the stats:
24.3 lbs - 50% percentile
31.5 inches - 55% percentile
Long and skinny like his daddy!!
His doctor said he is as healthy as a horse and is right on track with hitting all his milestones at this point.
After the doctor we headed home and as soon as we left the hospital parking lot he was OUT!! Must have been the Tylenol kicking in and all the screaming from shots.
Landon usually always has a fever after shots so today we are staying home and being lazy. I think I might have to make some soup for dinner.
Sunday we are going to our local pumpkin farm. I pray for good weather.

He was asleep as soon as we left the parking lot

Hope you have a great weekend.

Finding Nemo

Every october we have to clean out this....

Set up this...

For this...

We have had this sucker/algae fish for 3 years and every year we have to catch him from the fish pond and place him into his tank for the winter. He will stay in the tank till spring when the weather is warmer. Our fish would not live the winter in the pond, they have to have warm water to survive. The only place he can go (or i will allow) is our laundry room. We put him on the floor because he is so strong he could knock over the tank stand. We also have to feed him algae wafers all fall/winter till he returns to the pond. Every year we say we are going to give him to someone who has a bigger and nicer tank so we don't have to transfer him every year, but Jason really like's this fish so we keep him. Landon has not seen the fish yet, but he did seem to be very interested in the tank full of water. Look's like I will be going to be closing the laundry room door from now on. Believe it or not the fish is not very hard to catch. Jason has to careful though because he does have sharp spikes. We have never named our fish. Does anyone have a name idea for our "Nemo"?

I hope PETA doesn't see this

Landon and Zoey are always playing together. Landon likes to ride Zoey like a horse and chase her around the house. I'm pretty sure Zoey does not like Landon pouncing on her, but she just sits there and takes it like a champ. I do have to break it up every now and then. Now that Landon is walking and I have to block the doggie door, Zoey has no place to hide. Baby proofing has come in full swing now that little man is in full throttle mode. I have to close all the bathroom doors, because he likes to play with the toilets and take the toilet bolt covers off and chew on them. He likes to eat the rocks from our gas log fireplace. We had to close the doggie door because he likes to crawl out of it. Last week I caught him taking the AC vent out of the floor and dangling his legs in the vent and putting toys down there as well. Loves to roll the toilet paper off the roll and crawl into the shower with me. He has also ripped our alarm sensor out of the wall several times. Do all toddlers do this? I have to watch him every second of the day because he is into EVERYTHING!!
Is it worse because I have a toddler that happens to be ALL BOY or are all toddlers this way? What are some crazy things your kids do?
I LOVE YOU LANDON!!

I promise he is not hurting her

Someone get me a spoon because I could just eat him up

The big 35!!

...in weight lose that is. Yep that's right at Weight Watcher's last night I weighed in not sure what to expect. Since I was sick last week I didn't eat very much, but this last weekend I made up for it since I was feeling better and starving. So I went in got my little weigh-in sheet and stepped up on the scale. My WW leader just looked at me like OMG!! I lost 4.2 lbs in the last 2 weeks. That put me over the 35 lbs I was hoping for and I ended up with a total of 38 lb. lost. I was doing my happy dance at this point. I have gone down two shirt sizes and two pant sizes. I am still keeping my original goal of 50 lbs. I will let you know how next week goes. After my meeting I went through the Taco Bell drive-thru. HA ;O)

Night out at the Vandy game

OK so we lost, but we still had a great time. This was our first game of the football season. Jason's sister, Tena watched Landon for us, while we had a night out. The weather was perfect for football, not to hot, but not to cold. When we returned home Landon got his usual good report. We had a great date night at the Vanderbilt game. Here are a few pictures from our evening.

Happy fall Ya'll

Happy fall ya'll. I hope everyone is getting excited for the upcoming fall season. I am so in the mood to decorate for fall this year. Last year I was not into it, because I was so tired trying to take care of a 3 month old. This year I'm ready. We went to the nashville flea market to get a good deal on mums and I am planning on going to find some pumpkins, hay bales and a few fall home decor's.

Landon and I have been under the weather this whole week. I finally went to the doctor and ended up with a sinus infection and Landon has had a fever for 3 days. He eats, plays and poops fine, but sleep is a different story. The last 3 days he has been up several times in the middle of the night. Jason's mother and my mom had to come and help take care of Landon while I can rest and be the mother I need to be to him. I hope we are on the downhill of this sickness.

I have a praise!! Jason received a promotion last week and started on monday of this week. He was promoted into a buyer/supervisor position. He manages 8 people who buy from Ferguson's distribution center's for their stores in the central time zone. We are very proud of him and his accomplishment's at such an early age.

On another happy note. Landon is WALKING!! I really mean walking EVERYWHERE!! He has been showing signs of walking several steps at one time, but one day he just pushed that little booty up in the air and stood up to walk. Look out world here he comes!! Now my challenge is keeping socks and shoes on him. Espically with the cold weather coming up.

We have a busy weekend ahead of us. Jason and I are planning on going to the Vandy game tomorrow night, depending on my health and strenght. Sunday is church and I am planning on working on the front porch fall decorations. When I complete it, I will take pictures and post.

Landon and I are on fall break for the next 10 glorious days. I hope to get some cleaning, decorating and working out done in the next 10 days.

We have started a blog. I am still trying to work on it, but I will eventually switch to our new site.

No pictures this post. I have been slacking this week since we were all sick. I will get some of Landon walking and maybe a video.

Happy fall ya'll
