Johnny Jumper

I got Landon's Johnny Jumper out for Houston to jump in. Landon was about 8 months old when we got the jumper and he LOVED it. I thought this might be something Houston would enjoy as well. As soon as we put him in it he went to town on jumping. He's a natural pro at the Johnny Jumper

Pretty blue eyes. Landon had brown eyes when he Houston's age now. So I'm hoping Houston's eyes stay blue like his mommy.

Houston's 1st zoo visit

Friday Jason took off work and we took the boys to the Nashville Zoo. Landon and I went about 2 weeks ago, but this time we brought daddy and baby Houston with us. The weather was perfect and both boys did wonderful.

Nashville Zoo

About two weeks ago Landon and I, along with my good friend Sarah and her son Brady visited the Nashville Zoo. Since we live in Nashville we visit the zoo pretty frequently, but for the next few months they have a dinosaur exhibit, called DinoTrek. The dinosaur's were very realistic, they moved and made sounds and very were life like. We liked it so much that we became members of the zoo and were going back this week to take Jason and Houston with us. Here are a few pictures from our fun zoo day.

The T-Rex was the best. You go over the swinging bridge and right up to T-Rex

At the end of the exhibit they have a sand area you can dig for dinosaur bones. This was right up the boys ally. We could have just done this and they would have been happy.

We had a great day. However we did miss baby Houston, he was at the sitters house. Friday Jason, Landon, Houston and I are all going together as a family of 4.

1 year later

One year ago today we announced this on our blog

and Landon was super excited about becoming a BIG brother

Today we are blessed with his sweet baby

and then there were two..

That was a FAST year

Happy 7th wedding anniversary

Yesterday, April 9th, Jason and I celebrated our 7th year of married bliss ;o) I really cant believe it's been 7 years already. I just feel like we have accomplished so much in 7 short years. Bought our first home, found careers we love and are established in, adopted a dog and had two beautiful, healthy boys. I don't know how it could get better, but I cant wait to find out. It was fun looking back on memory lane yesterday and talking about our wedding day over dinner ALONE. haha. I wanted to share a few pictures of our special day on April 9, 2005.

We had a wonderful Easter. We started off by opening the boys Easter baskets, church and then off to Jason's grandmother's house for Easter lunch followed by the annual Easter egg hunt. BUSY, but FUN day.
