Consignment buys

I attended our local semi-annual consignment sale yesterday. I just LOVE to sell at consignments, but I LOVE to shop them more.














I bought him 2 mickey mouse DVD's, a Thomas the Train book, 1 pair of shoes, a Tonka fire truck that makes LOTS of noise ;o), several swim shorts and 2 pair of summer PJ's. Of course clothes, several pairs of shorts and T's. I plan on going back on Friday for 1/2 price day just in case I missed something.

Consignment time

It's that time of year again, consignment sales. I have an appointment tomorrow morning to drop off some of Landon's things to sale at our local consignment sale. I love to consign, but I love to shop the sale more.

Happy Valentines Day

Happy Valentines Day!! I hope you had a great day today and shared it with the ones that you LOVE. Our family did.

Landon and I had Valentine's Day parties today. Jason was off work so he went to eat lunch with Landon today and then came and picked him up from school.

Romance and Roses 2011

Every year our church hosts an event called Romance and Roses. It's an event to celebrate marriage and its always the week of Valentines Day. Jason and I make it our Valentines/ my birthday date night (saves on the babysitter) ;o)

I was not feeling very well on friday the day of the event, but I mustered enough energy to take a shower, put on makeup and get dressed. I had about 3 saltine crackers and a few glasses of orange juice friday, but I really enjoy going to this every year so I solidered on.

31 and Dave Ramsey

Have you ever heard of 31? I have not until I went to a 31 party. 31 is a Christian company that sales very cute purses, laundry totes, backpacks, baby items and ALL kinds of awesome bags. An added bonus almost every item can be monogrammed. I went to a party a few weeks ago and got these two items

This is my favorite bag, its the large utility tote. I can fit so much in it for school. I can carry my purse, lunch tote, Landon's lunch and all his nap mat things everyday. I have friends that use it for holding laundry, sports equipment in their car, groceries, etc....

On another note, Jason and I had the opportunity to see Dave Ramsey live in Nashville Saturday. He is one of the best motivational and financial speakers I have ever heard. We had such a great time listening to him and learning about debt, budgets and how to plan for the future. We were about 6 rows from the stage. That is the closet I have ever been to a celebrity (he is a celebrity in my mind) and when I went to take a picture my camera battery DIED. UGH!! I got 1 picture out of it













Can you see him? haha Its the worst picture ever. O well! He was still awesome and I recommend anyone to listen to him and take his course or read his books.

Steam Mop

I have been wanting a steam mop for a while now, but just have never researched them or wanted to spend the money on one. The other day my neighbor let me borrow hers just to try it out before I bought one and LOVED it. It did a great job on all my hardwood floors. So I asked around on FB for feedback on which mop to buy and got good feedback on this one
